Push Start Driving School understands that maybe it is your first driving experience or maybe you’re looking to improve particular aspects of driving.

Teens under 18 years old need 6-hours of driving lessons to obtain the behind-the-wheel certificate of completion (OL 400D) to take the driving test.

Our highly trained instructors have taught hundreds of people how to drive and improve upon their driving skills. We provide comprehensive driving assessments.

We have helped many drivers prepare for the DMV drive test and pass their test to obtain a California driver’s license. Our motto revolves around teaching you safe driving skills. TIP: Schedule your DMV drive tests before 10am for shorter wait periods. The wait time at the DMV after 10am is generally 1-2 hours.

Push Start Driving School of San Mateo offers reasonably priced behind-the-wheel packages for teens and adult drivers.  Senior Drivers, we can assist with Supplemental Driving Performance Evaluation driving test.

Be picked up and dropped off at your home, school, or workplace.  Note that there is a  $50 cancellation fee for cancellations within 24 hours.  As a courtesy to instructors and other students, please reschedule or make cancellations in advance.
